Cool! I was just looking up what are we gonna use when we get there in the Philippines for a 3 month vacation? We were looking for prepaid wireless broadband connection…but this seems awesome! Do you know what speed it is? Thanks!

Average speeds of mobile 3G connections varies from 500kbps to as high as 1.5mbps. If you’re staying within Metro Manila, I suggest you get the Sun Broadband Wireless prepaid kit. Outside the metro, you can choose between Smart and Globe (which ever has the stronger signal in your place)

I have been a Smart subscriber since 2004 or 2005 (cannot remember), before that, Globe.
Have been pretty satisfied except for the vanishing load that I experience ngayong naka roaming ako. other than that, ayos naman. I might try this when I get home.
