I was having a picnic with my family at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife when jepoy informed me that Saver, the Wonder Dog died last February 2009 due to cancer. Saver’s trainer, Jun Lazarte didn’t inform the media when Saver died. He just announced it today on ABS-CBN’s Matang Lawin program
I love watching Saver on TV and I remember myself being clued to the TV whenever Saver is on. I’ll miss you Saver. Thanks for all the happy memories! Mocha says goodbye too

very sad. i like dogs. especially ones that are very smart. farewell buddy. good thing all dogs go to heaven.

I was so shocked when i heard the news that SAVER, THE WONDER DOG died last February 2009…..I was really shocked……Saver is the most intelligent dog that I have seen….I am very sad… Farewell to you, SAVER… ALL FILIPINO PEOPLE LOVES YOU VERY MUCH…..|**(-_-)**|

I hope I can write a post about Saver as a tribute for his talent and for reminding us that askal, known now as Aspin, must receive proper treatment like the pure breed dogs.
I also have an Aspin named Chuchie. She’s not as intelligent as Saver, but like other dog owners, I always want her to be safe and healthy.
